Madison Area Health Center to Hold Toiletries Drive

MADISON – Madison Area Health Center will hold a Toiletries Drive in celebration of National Health Center Week starting Monday, August 14 and ending Friday, August 25. Donations will be accepted at the Health Center during business hours.

All donations will be collected to support the Madison High School Food Cupboard. Donated items must be new and unused or unopened, please. 

Examples of needed toiletry items include:
  • Soap
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Toothpaste
  • Toothbrushes
  • Deodorant
  • Feminine Hygiene
  • Toilet Paper
  • Lotion
  • Lip Balm
  • Shaving Cream
  • Shaving Razors

The event is being held in celebration of National Health Center Week, which runs from August 13th through 19th. This year’s theme for National Health Center Week is “Celebrating America’s Health Centers:  The Key to Healthier Communities.” One of the bright spots in America’s health care system, Community Health Centers serve more than 25 million Americans, a number that continues to grow along with the demand for affordable primary care.
